Abstract

This paper studies the complex world of anarchist publications at the beginning of the xx century. The author focuses in particular in La Protesta, the journal with the greatest circulation among anarchist militants. The importance of young journalists who were able to combine a political commitment with a professionalization of the activity to spread anarchist ideas is highlighted.
In addition to this, the communicational transfomations oriented to promote reading and to achieve its incorporation as intellectuals in the symbolic goods market of anarchism.
