Abstract

Warner Brothers feature film ARGO has been one of the most advertised films in the world cinema industry in an international context of multipolar power in which the Islam Republic of Iran got a leading role in Latin America. Based on the hostages crisis during the Iranian Revolution of 1979 anda by showing the Iranian people and their beliefs from a Christian occidental perspective, Argo has been one more element in the worldwide Islamic discredit campaign launched by the United States and has been used to justify the sanction of the Agreement against the Iranian influence in Latin America in December 2012.
