Abstract

From a perspective that recovers her personal experience, Estela Barnes de Carlotto looks through the forty years that passed from the Coup d’état of 1976 to the present day. The President of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo speaks about the kidnapping of his husband Guido and his daughter Laura, of the hopes who generated the return of the Democracy and of the later disappointment that there supposed the laws of Punto Final and Obediencia Debida, of Raúl Alfonsín, and the pardons, of Carlos Menem. It stops in the change that supposed the arrival of Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernandez, in the happiness of having found his grandson Guido, in 2014, and in the relation with the current government of Mauricio Macri.
