Abstract

The author realizes in this article the recovery work carried out by a group of producers, nucleate in the Movimiento Audiovisual Platense (MAP), that proposed to realize a
documentary movie that was rescuing the history of the School of Cinematography of La Plata (Argentina), founded by Cándido Moneo Sanz, in 1955, and then declared extinct and finally closed by the last civic and military Dictatorship, in 1978.
