The present work looks to investigate the place that take ups the account of the history in the configuration of the identities, for this case, the newspaper ‘La Nacion’. An idetitie that we call ‘liberal conservative’. For this we studied what the same newspaper wrote about the celebration of the May 25th of 1810 and about the revolution during the years 2001-2002 and 2008- 2010. The selection’s criteria of the periods, it was based on the different historical contexts and, in wich contexts, to deepen in the relation between the history’s speech and and the speech of what way of action, Argentina should take in the situation.

Likewise, the journal encourages the authors so that after their publication in Cuadernos de H ideas they deposit their productions in other institutional and thematic repositories, under the principle that offering society scientific and academic production without restrictions contributes to a greater exchange of global knowledge.
