Línea Dura. A female voice in the resistance of the peronismo (1957-1958)

Abstract

This article is an analysis of the peronist factious press, produced after the coup of 1955, focusing on the weekly Línea Dura. The debates that took place in Peronismo during those years are reflected in this press. The choice of this publication is that its director was a woman, the writer Maria Granata. This study has allowed us a closer look at one of the activities of women in the Peronist resistance, as it was the opposition press. Línea Dura would have acted as a medium that allowed women to participate in the political debate of those years, and make visible their political activity in front of male comrades. It is observed compared to the previous period a greater participation of women and men working together and greater independence of the women, in relation to Eva Peron as a basis for political activity.
