Abstract

The poetic of Santiago Vega- Washington Cucurto -in his first book of poems Zelarayán (1998) - can be read with the appearance of a new language used to talk about violence, politic, immigrants and the Argentine literature (and Latin American) from a spectacular machine that -though sarcasm and the festive- unsettles the spectacle's logic, which is the same that is involved in the creation of the poems, in the context of the production of a new Argentine poetry, during the nineties.
