“No me voy, me quedo aquí”. Debates públicos en torno a las nociones de persona y las definiciones sobre la muerte de Gustavo Cerati (2010-2014)

El presente escrito propone un análisis acerca del procesamiento público de la muerte trágica en la argentina contemporánea. Para ello recorre y analiza la trama pública de los eventos que en 2010 llevaron al coma y en 2014 al fallecimiento al músico argentino Gustavo Cerati. Reconstruimos la gama de sentidos del morir que fueron puestos en debate, al tiempo que las interacciones del músico en estado de coma que suscitaron interpretaciones divergentes y la necesidad de legislar sobre la “muerte digna”, discutida públicamente. La investigación se apoya en un nutrido corpus de publicaciones de la prensa escrita y programas televisivos, revisadas para la coyuntura de la muerte de Cerati, en septiembre de 2014, y retrospectivamente hasta el momento del ACV, en 2010. Realizamos también observaciones y entrevistas en el funeral y sepultura del cuerpo del cantante.
