Fake News and COVID-19: a Journalistic Coverage in Peru

In the present investigation, the construction of the news of the Beto a Saber and Rey con Barba programs in the journalistic coverage of COVID-19 was analyzed; and how misinformation has been fostered through his speech. For this, the pandemic context has been started and contrasted with similar past scenarios where the Peruvian press has misrepresented the data many times at the time of reporting. In addition, the issue of fake news has been addressed and what the conditions have been for them to have been so well received by the audience in the midst of a pandemic.
