Abstract

In this article, the author establishes new relations between three of the most famous texts about crimes in Latin America: Brevísima relación de la destrucción de las Indias (Las Casas, 1552), Vida del Chacho (Hernández, 1855) y Operación masacre (Walsh, 1957). The question that encourages it is to investigate the validity of these texts and where it resides. The author plots a series of continuities, that form a political reading that indicates the intense link that joins the destination of Las Casas, Hernández y Walsh, and invites to an inherent reading of the texts, as if they keep something that transcends their time.
