Abstract

The authors focus on Netflix as an object of analysis, as technology and in the uses, appropriations and narrative forms that it proposes as a screen. The interest lies in approaching the on demand audiovisual productions platforms a promoter of practices that suppose particularities different from old screens. Netflix, besides offering cinema and television, puts into circulation its own productions. To perationalize the analysis we point out in the case of House of Cards as an emblematic series of the platform.
