Publishing newspapers, TV shows or radio at school can remain in an ordinary practice and of little communicative / educational interest for teachers, students and parents. It is therefore necessary to problematize how contents are structured and produced that will be shared in the media of educational institutions.
In this case, the analytical interest starts from what happens in an initial phase in which decisions are made (who), from where they these arise and how are interest , because it is the space in which begins to form a discursive practice, expression of ideas or appropriation / expropriation of the word by the students, who are called to be protagonists of these communication practices and reach the analysis of some texts(articles published in school journals) from which some classifications are established based on the category of communicative density (Valderrama: 2007).
The intention of this work is to socialize partial results from the doctoral thesis entitled "School media, education and citizenship. A view from the mediations" which aims to "investigate who and how set up/construct the production processes of the school media, which circulate information and content for students, teachers, administrators, parents and community outside the educative institution (EI)". The research was developed from/with qualitative methods and techniques (sightings, interviews and focus groups) to students and teachers from two educational institutions in the city of Medellin, Colombia.Downloads
