Abstract

The aim of this paper is to highlight the representations that Argentinean trade unions developed in their webs sites in 2007. During this year, the growth and development of trade union webs sites showed the importance assigned to this agile and modern resource by these organizations. The purpose of this research is to analyze, from a communicational and cultural perspective, the relationship between trade unions and other social actors, and to show how unions consolidated their position in the cyberspace. The analysis focuses in types of information stressed, aesthetic features and main discourses.

Licenciada en Ciencias de la Comunicación, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Universidad de Buenos Aires(UBA). Doctoranda en Ciencias Sociales (UBA) y becaria de Conicet, con sede en el IDES. Integrante de los equipos de investigación “Las nuevas subjetivaciones capitalistas: la centralidad de la teoría del capital humano en la gestión y gobierno de la fuerza de trabajo” (2009-2010) dirigido por el Dr. Damián Pierbattisti, con sede en el Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales ydel equipo “Sujetos, prácticas y conflictos.
