"The nightmare is over" Magazine Writing and the 1976 coup

Abstract

This article analyzes the discourse of the journal Redacción in the months before the coup of March 24, 1976, to the context of destabilizing the government of Isabel Perón and the prospect of a new intervention for the seizure of state power by of the Argentine Armed Forces. Also, the positioning of the magazine are studied once finalized before the coup and the first steps of the military dictatorship. Strong critical tone towards the Peronist administration, Redacción construed the coup against the government of Isabel Perón as necessary to resolve the national crisis that from his point of view the country was suffering due to "political vacuum" generated by the Peronist administration itself step.

Such assignment also implies the authorization of the authors for the work to be harvested by SEDICI, the institutional repository of the National University of La Plata, and be disseminated in the databases that the editorial team considers appropriate for increase the visibility of the publication and its authors.

Likewise, the journal encourages the authors so that after their publication in Cuadernos de H ideas they deposit their productions in other institutional and thematic repositories, under the principle that offering society scientific and academic production without restrictions contributes to a greater exchange of global knowledge.
