Building of a Program Extension between the Museum of Anthropology and teacher training institutes: «I need to observe a guided tour»
In this work we propose historicizing, conceptualize, reflect and communicate the Outreach Program "I need to see a guided tour”, a articulated propose between the Institutes of Teacher Education of the Province of Cordoba and the Education and Outreach Area Museum of Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, National University of Cordoba. The joint work began three years ago until its realization as Extension Program at the end of 2015. We decided mean this educational practice as an extension because it has the challenge of linking the university to society through anthropological knowledge, responding to a demand from IFD arising from the change of curriculum design and study plans. The central thesis that we propose to put in tension is that, while the University and Institutes are instances of higher education, still have to build bridges to bond because historically it has been developed in parallel, and the Cordovan social imaginary is considered the University in a higher academic level than the Institutes. In this context the Museum of Anthropology have become by us in a favorable scene of institutional recognition and exchange of knowledge and construction.
