Bread with bread, food zonzo. Reflections about the need to reformulate the split between extension and research we do in the universities
The work aims to systematize observations, reflections and discussions that were emerging from various levels of work and exchange with organizations, actors and practices in the territory under the planning and the projection of actions linked to the university extension (1). We intend to discuss the contributions of research and researchers in the design and implementation of its extension practices taking as a reference case the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad Nacional del Centro (Unicen) of Olavarría (Buenos Aires, Argentina). In this articule we attempt to travel on two issues: first, we will realize some tensions that live today on campus about what is (and is not) the extension through an analysis of how entrenched constructions in subjects and the founding mandates of institutions affect the production of senses and meanings of the extension. Then, we will mark a propositional axis to generate alternatives that can make use of all emergings that (not without resistance) resulting from brand experiences.
