Abstract

In the scenario of public policies, education is one of the key processes for the development of any country, together with the questioning of its quality that determines its real impact on social change. It promotes interest in reflecting on what is said or known about education, particularly the higher order, from the intervention of print media. Faced with this, the interest of a study positioned in the project of the Observatorio Global Mediático de la Frontera Norte de la UABC arises and of analyzing, from the perspective of the agenda setting, the news published by the newspapers of greater circulation of the locality of Mexicali.
