Creencias sobre el aprendizaje del idioma inglés desde la perspectiva del estudiantado infantil

Este artículo tiene como objetivo explorar las creencias del estudiantado en edad escolar del programa English for Kids del proyecto de Extensión Docente Idiomas para la Comunicación Internacional de la Sede del Pacífico de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), con respecto al aprendizaje del idioma inglés. Para esto, se aplica un instrumento al estudiantado con una serie de preguntas que apuntan a su percepción acerca de distintos aspectos de sus clases de inglés y el idioma como tal. Mediante dicho instrumento, se demuestra que el alumnado en cuestión, a pesar de ser tan joven, se encuentra seguro de la importancia de aprender la lengua inglesa para propósitos profesionales en su futuro, evidenciando una serie de creencias positivas con respecto al aprendizaje de esta lengua.
Beliefs about learning English from the perspective of child student
This article aims to explore the beliefs of school-age students Inglés Program for Kids Outreach Project Teaching Languages for International Communication Pacific Headquarters of the University of Costa Rica, about learning English. For this, an instrument to students with a series of questions that point to your perception about different aspects of their English classes and language as such applies. Through this instrument , it is shown that the students in question, despite being so young, is sure of the importance of learning the English language for professional purposes in the future , showing a number of positive beliefs about learning the language .

The acceptance of an original by the journal implies the non-exclusive transfer of the patrimonial rights of the authors in favor of the publisher, who allows the reuse, after its edition (postprint), under a Creative Commons License Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International.

The assignment of non-exclusive rights implies that after postprint in Extensión en red authors may publish their work in any language, media and format; in that case, it is requested that they signal that the material was originally published by this journal.
Assignment also entails the authors’ authorization for the work to be collected by SEDICI, the institutional repository of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and for it to be indexed in the databases that the publisher thinks appropriate for enhancing the visibility of the published work and its authors.
In addition, the journal encourages authors to submit their works to other institutional and thematic repositories after their publication in Extensión en red, under the assumption that offering society unrestricted access to scientific and academic production contributes to a greater exchange in global knowledge.
