Abstract

In this article we propose a series of reflections upon the experience of university teaching in times of the pandemic, as to identify a series of issues of more permanent character that have been made acutely visible by the emergency, as well as certain tendencies that have been getting worse, and some challenges that may have to be brought up to date. The relocation of the teaching activities towards the virtual environment exposes pre-existing inequalities in socio-economic and work conditions, as in the distribution of chores according to gender, but also in teacher´s professional training. In this sense, it is important to observe in which aspects that training should be ranked and updated, incorporating critical reflection upon the use and production of adequate technologies as to preserve (as well as the academic autonomy in our professional exercise) the right of the people to education, knowledge and culture, within a project of sovereign development.
