Abstract

In this edition we recover the closing conference of the XXIII Congress of the Social Communication and Journalism Career Network (REDCOM), which was held on October 29, 2021 through the YouTube channel of the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER). In the dissertation, the journalist and writer Miriam Lewin, who has headed the Public Defender's Office since June 2020, elaborated on the role of the entity in promoting the right to democratic communication of the audiences, explained the pedagogical devices of the organization to the development of responsible journalism, highlighted the need to communicate accurately in times of pandemic and outlined a panorama of misinformation and its link to job insecurity.
