Abstract

This review is based on the analysis of the book Reading the comments: likers, haters and manipulators at the bottom of the web, published in 2015, product of the work of Joseph Reagle, specialist in studies on the Internet. In this book, the author will outline the main features and uses of online comments, understanding it as a gender of communication increasingly present in the daily life of peopl and in social studies.

Estudiante avanzado de la carrera de Licenciatura en Sociología, Facultad de Humanidades, Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. Actualmente revista como becario de la misma en tareas de investigación y docencia y se encuentra realizando su tesis de grado en área de Humanidades Digitales.
