Abstract

With the takeover of Néstor Kirchner in 2003, policies were deployed that stabilized the social, political and economic life of the country that, even with changes of government and various conflicts, sustained the governance of Kirchnerism until 2015. This situation implied complex displacement of forces political, social and cultural that had a significant impact on the formation of new groups of artists and artistic spaces. This paper aims to reflect on the links between the emergence of experiences that are the subject of our research entitled "A spiral of art and life: networks of friendship and emerging politics in artistic collectives of La Plata between 2006-2015" and the historical period that opens with Kirchnerism in Argentina, which, with certain differences, has its counterpart in countries of the southern cone such as Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, among others.
