Abstract

Roberto Larraya recalls a memorable era at Radio Universidad, characterized by a passion for rock and innovation in programming. His collaboration on the program "Concert of Pop Music" was a transformative experience, where he learned not only to be a broadcaster but also to operate the radio. The program, led by Roberto Parreño, changed the paradigm of rock by presenting it formally, resisting censorship, and becoming an oasis of freedom in difficult times. Larraya highlights this period as the "golden age" of radio, a time of comfort, freedom, and utility for the university community.
