"As a university radio station, I believe that our objectives should not be limited solely to aspects related to sound or radio transmission, which, of course, are paramount," stated Mr. Omar Turconi. "However, being closely linked to academic and communication programs, we also seek to strengthen our online presence, improve internal communication, and enhance ties with the community through initiatives such as the publication of 'Tinta de Radio,' a project that has been revitalized with vigor and where talented members of our team contribute."
Additionally, Omar Turconi explained, "Our FM frequency, with a more youthful focus, carries out a wide range of activities, including concerts and the promotion of local rock bands." Notable examples include the tribute to Virus and Los Redondos Ricota, two iconic groups from our city.
The interview was retrieved from the CD published with the book "Radio Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Aniversario 85 años 1924 -2009- Toda una vida" (National University of La Plata Radio. 85th Anniversary 1924-2009- A Whole Life). Edited by the UNLP Editorial in the year 2009.
