Abstract

This paper seeks to question the feeding practices from the appropriation youth cultures that make them, how to ascribe or deny young people some food speeches and how they shape their subjectivity and a sense of body through the way they feed. For the analysis, which rests on a fieldwork realized with young students of the National University of La Plata, there were compiled some testimonials from residents Argentine youth in student pensions of the city of La Plata, where it seeks to ascertain whether it is true were collected that eating has become a modern «mess», a battlefield where body and definition of the subject are in dispute. Also it is observed how young people make to order, with their meal, the world and the history fragments found daily
