Abstract

Cintia Rodil guides us through the intricate workings of the National University of La Plata Radio Archive. With detail and passion, she leads us into a world where every aspect is crucial for preserving and disseminating our rich culture.

In the archive, everything is meticulously organized. The ATOM format aims to faithfully reproduce not only what is heard on the tapes but also every physical detail. From the content of the tapes to handwritten notes, nothing is overlooked. Even physical characteristics are recorded, providing unique access for researchers and culture enthusiasts.

The collections in the archive are diverse and captivating. From university assemblies to culture of the Word Archive, each set of files offers a unique window into historical and cultural moments. The meticulous classification adapts to different categories, some established and others in development, including not only sound files but also program schedules that showcase evolution over the years.
